JUSTICE
A mutant who possesses powerful telekinetic abilities, Vance Astrovik originally tried to join the Avengers under the name Marvel Boy. After he was turned down, he joined the New Warriors, becoming one of their founding members and beginning a relationship with his teammate, Firestar. One night, Vance lashed out with his powers and accidentally killed his abusive father, then spent some time in jail. Once Vance was released from prison, he took on the name Justice. A former Avenger and New Warrior, now he is the leader of the Champions.
SILHOUETTE
The daughter of Andrew Chord, Silhouette Chord and her brother, Midnight’s Fire, operated as independent vigilantes on the streets of New York. It was here that they encountered Dwayne before he became Night Thrasher, and the three began a concentrated effort to take down street gangs. The effort ended when Silhouette was shot and had her legs paralyzed during a sting operation. She still fought crime as a New Warrior with the use of weaponized crutches, but after joining the Champions, an encounter with a vampiric bite healed her handicap.
HERCULES
The son of Zeus, Hercules is a hard-drinking hero who enjoys the finer things in life. With centuries of battle experience, he is the strongest of all the Olympians. In the modern age, he has frequently used his great strength as a member of the Avengers and was also one of the founding members of the Champions. He has also fought alongside the Defenders and the Heroes For Hire. After aiding the latest incarnation of the Champions during a crisis at the superhuman prison known as the Deep, he accepted an invitation to remain alongside the team.
JUBILEE
Orphaned as a young teen, Jubilation Lee lived in a California mall for a time, using her mutant abilities to generate pyrotechnics in order to put on shows for the shoppers. But when the mutant-hunting M-Squad came after her, Jubilee was rescued by the X-Men. She followed them through a portal to their Australian base where, after saving Wolverine’s life, she became his partner and eventually one of the X-Men. She was briefly engaged to Iceman before his death. After discovering her parents left her a trust fund, Jubilee moved to the west coast.
THE GOBLIN
Nephew of Daily Bugle star reporter Ben Urich, Phil Urich was working alongside his uncle when he stumbled upon a secret cache of weapons developed by Harry Osborn. After being accidentally doused in the Goblin formula, Phil discovered a mask whose circuitry interacted with the formula to give him superhuman abilities, including a sonic weapon called the Lunatic Laugh. Taking the weapons for his own, Phil became the heroic Green Goblin. Although the mask was damaged, he was recently able to repair it and now works with the Champions.
DAN KETCH
When he and his sister were brutally injured during a gang attack, Dan Ketch stumbled upon an old motorcycle in a junkyard possessing a strange symbol. After touch the symbol, Ketch became transformed into the Ghost Rider. Later discovering that the previous Ghost Rider, John Blaze was actually his long-lost brother, Ketch learned that the Spirit of Vengeance he had been bonded with was his ancestor, Noble Kale. The two separated but aspects of Kale’s power lingered within Ketch. Now cursed with the Hellfire inside him, Ketch has become a drifter but recently joined the Champions.
