CAPTAIN ENGLAND

Captain EnglandBrian Braddock – recovered alcoholic, reknowned physicist, chosen champion of the British Isles, hero, and widower. Brian is a man who has been many things, and wishes for nothing other than to be himself. After the death of his wife Meggan and the disbanding of Excalibur, Brian sold Braddock Manor and moved to Medway where he lives with his new girlfriend, Elsa Bloodstone. He’s near-invulnerable, can fly and has superhuman strength, powers enhanced by the suit he wears.

 


ELSA BLOODSTONE

Elsa BloodstoneDaughter of legendary monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone, Elsa grew up without any knowledge of her father. Until one day when she discovered her parentage as well as the Bloodgem choker. She has followed in her father’s footsteps, utilizing her enhanced speed, strength, stamina, durability and healing factor as a monster hunter, as well as an impressive array of weapons. Currently, she is dating Brian Braddock.

 


DRUID

DruidAnthony Druid was a psychiatrist obsessed with the occult. Contacted by the Ancient One disguised as a Tibetan Lama, Druid gained some mystic abilities as well as limited telepathy and telekinesis. Having served with the Avengers for the time, Druid eventually became empowered by the Celtic Gods, gaining many followers before he was killed by Hellstorm. Now he’s back from the dead, for reasons he doesn’t even understand.

 


Volume Two

Excalbur #1 – Fairy Tale in Medway

Meggan is dead, Excalibur has been disbanded, and Captain Britain hasn’t been more lost. So what does he do in this time of crisis? Sells Braddock Manor and moves out to Medway with his new girlfriend, monster hunter extraordinaire, Elsa Bloodstone! Also along for the ride is a resurrected Anthony Druid, but things are about to get a lot more complicated once Roma shows up! Edward Ainsworth brings you a very different take on Excalibur in “Fairy Tale in Medway”!

Excalibur #2 – Gaaaaaaan Aaaaaaaat

Elsa Bloodstone and Anthony Druid have to contend with the fictional man and his black birds at the Tower of London! Seems like there’s something wrong with the ducks and Druid quite likes ducks. Also, Captain Britain shares a pint with Captain Cornwall as they discuss the end of England. Not even the title, “Gaaaaaaan Aaaaaaaat,” makes any sense here, so see what Edward Ainsworth is up to!

Excalibur #3 – Meet The New Guys

While Elsa Bloodstone and Doctor Druid have been occupied elsewhere, Captain Britain has been off doing other important things–like meeting the Shadow Captains! Find out who they are in “Meet the New Guys” by Ed Ainsworth!

Excalibur #4 – Ripples

Captain Britain, Elsa Bloodstone, Anthony Druid and their new ally, the mysterious Knightraven, begin a trek into Barnsley to confront more elements of the released British Unconscious in the form of the Green Teeths!
