BLACK KNIGHT
Dane Whitman is the descendent of Sir Percy of Scandia, the legendary Black Knight from the time of Camelot. After his uncle disgraced his family’s legacy by using the Ebony Blade for evil, he bestowed it on his nephew to redeem the family name. As the Black Knight, Dane has served as an Avenger and a Defender and has utilized both magical and technological weapons in his quest as a hero. Now, he has been recruited into this top-secret classified unit and he has accepted the offer to head up Force Works because he feels someone should keep an eye on these people.
CYBERMANCER
A cybernetics expert at Stark Enterprises Far East Division, Suzi Endo eventually came into contact with a future version of herself called Cybermancer. She was put into stasis as her future self assumed her life but after Suzi helped defeat the Cybermancer, she retained a piece of the armor which she has now reverse-engineered. Only time will tell if Suzi will succumb to the fate her future self warned her about.
3-D MAN
Delroy Garrett’s career as an Olympic track medalist came to an abrupt end when it was discovered he had used steroids. To restore his faith, Delroy joined the Triune Understanding and their leader, Jonathan Tremont, told Delroy he had unlocked his superhuman potential, granting him three times the abilities of a man in peak physical condition. In reality, these powers were stolen from the original 3-D Man. As Triathalon, he served with the Avengers for a time until he discovered Tremont’s true intentions. Now, Delroy has taken on the identity of the 3-D Man.
CENTURY
A genetic creation consisting of the minds of the hundred strongest and most able of the Hodomur, Century possessed all their memories and instincts and has a fixed lifespan of one hundred years. After becoming mind-wiped, however, Century could not remember how long he had existed for nor did he know much about his past. Armed with Parallax, a battle-axe which he shares a rapport with, Century served on the original Force Works before wandering the Earth for a time.
DEATHLOK
Formerly Agent 18 of SHIELD, Jack Truman transferred his consciousness into a prototype cyborg soldier to prevent it from falling into the clutches of the Iron Trinity. Now, Truman continues to work for SHIELD as the new Deathlok. However, he must share his cybernetic body with the consciousness of Adam Aaronson, once the New Warrior known as Machine Teen. When Truman is in control, Deathlok is a dangerous force to be reckoned with. But when Adam takes over, he lacks the experience and the ruthlessness of Truman.
WAR MACHINE
Parnell Jacobs once fought alongside Jim Rhodes as a mercenary. Since then, he has been willing to do almost anything if the price is right. He piloted an abandoned War Machine armor that Rhodey once used and battled Iron Man with it. Since then, he has adapted and upgrated the suit, his ruthless attitude making him even more dangerous than his former partner.
X-MAN
A refugee from a reality which no longer exists, Nate Grey was the genetically engineered son of his universe’s Scott Summers and Jean Grey. Gifted with massively powerful psionic abilities, Nate has taken on the identity of the X-Man and has been running on his own as well as been manipulated by others. Now, he’s had enough and he’s declared himself a shaman with the mutants of this reality as his tribe which he feels it is his duty to watch over and protect, by any means necessary.
BLACK WIDOW
Yelena Belova was trained by ex-KGB agents into being the new Black Widow, designated to replace Natasha Romanova. However, Yelena failed in her mission and her recent association with Weapon Plus was brought to an abrupt end. Now, she has been forced to work with this organization against her will, and she is simply biding her time until she can strike.
G.W. BRIDGE
A veteran of the Vietnam War, George Washington Bridge utilized his military skills to become a mercenary after the war. He became a member of Cable’s team of mercenaries, the Six Pack. Believing Cable abandoned them, Bridge joined SHIELD and worked his way through the ranks, planning revenge. Eventually, he and Cable made peace and Bridge continued his career with SHIELD, at one point even serving as Director when Nick Fury was believed to be dead. Now, Bridge has formed this new Force Works, informing his team that they are a covert SHIELD unit. In reality, Bridge has gone AWOL from SHIELD and no longer has any connection to them.
