GORANI

GoraniA media mogul of renown, Gorani is a man with a keen strategic mind and a severe lack of morality. Formerly, he was the handler and assignment manager of the now disbanded Luminals. He sees the galaxy as a police state, and he wants to be in sole control. He has gathered the attention of the Guardians of the Galaxy to accomplish his macabre goals. A man with criminal contacts, Gorani is capable getting whatever information he requires and knows the price. After the mission on Alpha Centauri, he has already proven that he’ll risk anything – and anyone.

MAJOR VICTORY

Major VictoryIn his time, Vance Astro became the youngest man to enter space and was sent to Alpha Centauri to colonize it. Because of the long journey, Astro’s body was encased in a copper alloy bodysuit and his blood transfused with a preservative fluid. When he arrived almost a thousand years later, Earth had already colonized the planet. A man out of time, his psychokinetic powers had grown to an incredible degree and he helped form the Guardians of the Galaxy in his era as Major Victory. Sent back to prevent the destruction of his world, he has reformed the Guardians of the Galaxy.

MANTIS

MantisThe daughter of Libra, Melody Nga Brandt grew up in Vietnam and was raised by the alien Priests of Pama, a Kree sect who believed she was destined to become the Celestial Madonna and bear a child who would be the most important being in the universe. After excelling in martial arts, she was mind-wiped and began working as a prostitute where she met the Swordsman and followed him to the Avengers. With her broad empathic, telepathic and pyrokinetic gifts, as well as her prowess with plans, Mantis is the voice of reason.

DRAX THE DESTROYER

Drax the DestroyerArthur Douglas, the father of Moondragon, was driving with his family one day when Thanos destroyed their car. Arthur’s daughter survived and Arthur’s consciousness was seized before it left his body by Mentor. Discarding all of Douglas’ memories, Mentor replaced them with a hatred of Thanos and fashioned a new, humanoid body, capable of superhuman feats, transforming Douglas into Drax the Destroyer. However, an encounter with a mysterious being reduced Drax’s power significantly and also wiped his memory clean of his entire life since he was abducted by Mentor. Recently, these memories had been re-emerging.

CYNOSURE

CynosureBrae was born to a warrior race in the outer reaches of the galaxy who elected one of their own under the title of the God of Creation, Cynosure. Every twelfth year, the reigning tribal leader would accept the challenge of a designated youth and Brae won the title. However, his planet was quickly thrown into chaos and scattered as Brae attempted to establish himself as a leader worthy of the title that had been bestowed upon him. He led the ill-fated Luminals into Alpha Centauri, and he has not yet forgiven himself for the deaths that occurred there.

CRYSTAL

CrystalCrystalia Amaquelin Maximoff is a princess of the Inhuman Royal Family, dubbed the “People’s Princess” for selflessness, gentility and charm. She has fought alongside the Fantastic Four, the Avengers and more as the earth-bound superheroine, Crystal. Recently, an attack on Attilan cost Crystalia her daughter, and the princess will tear the cosmos apart to find her. With her ability to manipulate the four classical elements after exposure to the Terrigen Mists, Crystal is one of the most powerful individuals in the galaxy.

NOVA

NovaRichard Rider was an ordinary high school student until he encountered a dying alien who bestowed upon him the costume and powers that made him into the superhero called Nova. Granted the abilities of superhuman strength and speed as well as flight and the ability to fire powerful blasts of energy called ‘nova bursts’, Nova took to the streets and became a crimefighter, until taking off for a long period in outer space. He returned to Earth powerless, only to have those powers restored as he helped form the New Warriors. Recently, he has taken the position of Nova Prime and relocated to space.
