THOR
Son of Odin and heir to the throne of Asgard, Thor is the Norse God of Thunder. His enhancted hammer, Mjolnir, is crafted from the mystical metal known as uru, and it is the source of his powers, granting him dominion over the weather as well as the ability to pass freely between Asgard and Earth. The incanation on the hammer reads that whoever holds the hammer, if he be worthy, will possess Thor’s power. In addition to his duties in Asgard, Thor has served as the guardian of the Earth many times, as a founder and frequent member of the Avengers.
