CORSAIR
Born on Earth, Christopher Summers was a major in the United States Air Force and is father to Cyclops and Havok of the X-Men. While flying with his family, they were attacked by a Shi’ar cruiser. Christopher and his wife, Anne, were then taken captive and Anne was raped and killed by D’Ken. Christopher broke free with other inmates and they formed a band of space pirates known as the Starjammers, taking the name Corsair. Since D’Ken’s dethronement, the Starjammers have served as mercenaries, and are considered tentative allies of the Majestrix Lilandra.
HEPZIBAH
A Mephitisoid, Hepzibah is a feline humanoid with combat skills, cat-like grace and acrobatic skills. She was freed from a Shi’ar prison by Corsair and joined the Starjammers, where the two shared a romantic bond and have since become lifemates. Despite the Starjammers’ sometimes-friendship with the Shi’ar Empire, Hepzibah still hates them with the passion. She serves as the gunner on the Starjammer.
RAZA
The last of one of the Shi’ar races, Raza Longknife and his people rebelled against D’Ken. But while the rest of his people died in glorious battle, Raza was captured and turned into a cyborg. Retaining his skills with a sword and blaster, Raza is also faster, stronger, and almost indestructable, thus depriving him of ever having a good death. He escaped with Corsair from a Shi’ar prison and became one of the first Starjammers.
CH’OD
A Saurid from the planet known as Timor, Ch’od’s people were often used as mercenaries by the Shi’ar due to their great physical strength and endurance. While being held in a Shi’ar prison, Ch’od escaped with Corsair and joined the Starjammers. He often travels with a small, furry creature named Cr+eee, whom he shares a close friendship with. Although he looks like a monster, Ch’od is actually very gentle, highly intelligent, and extremely sociable.
