USAgent

U.S.AGENT

USAgentHe was a hero meant never to be. Given powers similar to Captain America by the Power Broker, John Walker became a corporate-sponsored superhero called the Super-Patriot. When Steve Rogers stepped down as Captain America, the CSA chose Walker to replace him. Once Rogers reclaimed his mantle, Walker took on the identity of the USAgent, serving as a member of the West Coast Avengers, Force Works and the Jury. Always meant by the Red Skull to be a pawn, never a hero, Walker is a man on a mission, desperate to prove his worth as a hero and punish those who have destroyed his past.

ARACHNE

ArachneWhen the CSA decided to try and create their own superhuman, Val Cooper tricked Julia Carpenter, her old college friend, into participating. During the experiment, the CSA “accidentally” injected Julia with a mixture of spider venom and exotic plant extracts, giving Julia powers similar to Spider-Man as well as the ability to generate webs out of psionic energy. After taking on the name Spider-Woman, Julia served as a member of Freedom Force, the Avengers and Force Works. Now, she continues to raise her daughter Rachel on her own, while occassionally donning her old costume.

BATTLESTAR

BattlestarLike USAgent, Lemar Hoskins was given powers similar to Captain America by the Power Broker, becoming part of the Bold Urban Commandos or BUCKIES.  When Walker was selected to succeed Steve Rogers as Captain America by the CSA, they also chose Hoskins to join him as the fifth Bucky. Once he was informed of the racial connotations of that name, Hoskins changed his name to Battlestar and donned a new costume. Once Rogers resumed the mantle of Captain America, Battlestar left the government, later joining Silver Sable’s Wild Pack for a time.
