POLARIS
The Mutant Mistress of Magnetism, Lorna Dane seems to share more than just her mutant ability to manipulate electromagnetic energies and ferrous metals with the mad mutant known to the world as Magneto. Lorna was a student when she first came into contact with the X-Men but a tempestuous relationship with the man known as Havok brought her into their fold as Polaris. She led Valerie Cooper’s iteration of the superhuman task force known as X-Factor alongside Havok, and she has been a stalwart member of the team since then.
FORGE
Trained as a Cheyenne mystic, Forge also possesses a mutant talent for perceiving mechanical energy, which makes him an inventive genius. While serving in the military, he was offered a position with SHIELD but turned it down. Later, he worked with the United States government as a defense contractor until he eventually joined the X-Men. After a rocky romance with his teammate, Storm, Forge left the X-Men and ran the government-sanctioned X-Factor for some time.
SHARD
Born and raised in a dystopian future, Shard served as a lieutenant of Xavier’s Security Enforcers alongside her old brother, Bishop. Her earliest memories are of the concentration camp where she was interned due to her mutant ability to manipulate light into concussive blasts of energy. Shard followed her brother through time to the present where she now serves as a member of X-Factor.
MULTIPLE MAN
Once a simple farmer’s son, Jamie Madrox has lived a colorful life. From his time spent on Muir Isle to his time as a member of X-Corps, Jamie has never found a single niche to settle himself into. Gifted with the power to make duplicates of himself and sometimes aptly taking the moniker of Multiple Man, Jamie found himself a useful asset to all who needed him. He has since found himself under the employ of the government-sanctioned branch of the X-Men known as X-Factor, although he’s still uncertain if he belongs.
STRONG GUY
Italian-American New Yorker Guido Carosella found himself with considerable wealth after the death of his parents but as his mutant ability to rechannel kinetic energy into physical strength emerged, he found himself isolated and closed himself off from even those closest to him. After the loss of his fortune, Guido took employment as the bodyguard of interstellar musician Lila Cheney to maintain his luxurious lifestyle. Assisting against the Shadow King on Muir Island, he was extended membership to X-Factor which he accepted and took the name Strong Guy.
WOLFSBANE
The daughter of a strict Free Presbyterian Reverend, the Scottish Rahne Sinclair is a primal entity hidden beneath a thin veneer of oppression and self-loathing. Since the dawn of her mutant ability, a primal lycanthrope, Rahne has struggled to come to terms with the truth of just who and what she really is. Once a New Mutant under the tutelage of Professor Xavier and his X-Men as the lupine Wolfsbane, Rahne has since made her home amongst the ranks of X-Factor.
RED LOTUS
Australian Paul Hark was born as the heir apparent of the Sydney-based Chinese Triad, which was run by his grandfather. Taking the moniker of Red Lotus and utilising his mutant ability of enhanced physical attributes – channelled through his martial arts – he became an assassin. However, he has since found himself associated with X-Factor to suit his own needs.
